News and Announcements

Summer is here and heat can be a real problem for some pets. Our own Dr. Lynne Gallitz was interviewed on NPR June 10, 2008. Dr. Gallitz explains which animals may have more problems with heat, lists symptoms to watch out for, and provides tips on what to do when your animal is overheating in an interview on NPR entitled "Pets Feel the Heat Too" on the following weblink: http://wamu.org/news/08/06/10.php .

Thanks to all that visited Ballston Animal Hospital's booth at the 2008 Animal Welfare League of Arlington's Walk for the Animals. We had a soggy but great time, and the animals and kids loved the bubbles!
