  Though we reside in Falls Church now, this picture was taken during a spring weekend down in Solomon's Island, MD, where Marty and Max got to enjoy some R&R in the Patuxent River. A good time had by all.

  I adopted Piper last weekend from a shelter in Virginia. He is a sweet little guy and (contrary to the breed) a little lazy, which makes him a good fit for my husband and I.
